The series revolves about Romi, a pretty normal Female at the beginning look, who is in fact the princess of a magic kingdom, the Emotion Kingdom. She came to Earth to catch all the Teeniepings: sweet but incredibly mischievous creatures that each one have a singular electrical power attached to an emotion or an idea they characterize.
